Based on the teachings of BKS Iyengar, this method of Hatha yoga emphasizes precision, alignment, and uses props, such as ropes, blocks and bolsters. The props allow a student to modify a pose to accommodate limitations while still receiving the benefits of the posture. This method can be therapeutic for recovering from back pain or other misalignment issues and can be modified to accommodate people of any age or fitness level.
